On
behalf of the entire St. Lawrence Lodge family, I welcome you to our
website. We are very proud of the work we do and we appreciate your interest
in our Home.
Since opening in 1970, St. Lawrence Lodge has been dedicated to caring for those persons who are no longer able to continue to live independently in the community and require long term care programs and services to assist and support them to live in a respectful and dignified manner.
Officially opened in April 2006, the “new” St. Lawrence Lodge is a modern, 224-bed long term care Home. We wanted to create a care facility that is home-like, timeless in appearance, and facilitates delivery of care for our residents. I think we have successfully accomplished these goals. Starting with the resident’s room with its large window, en-suite bathroom, temperature control, and ample illumination, St. Lawrence Lodge provides an enabling environment to support residents in their activities of daily living.
We, at St. Lawrence Lodge – employees, trustees, volunteers and students – are very proud of our new Home. We’ve created this website to give you quick and concise information about our programs and services.
