On the banks of the St. Lawrence
From whence it gets its name
Stands the imposing St. Lawrence Lodge
Which deserves much acclaim.

On a pleasant river site
Which commands a lovely view
Of the various passing ships
And many small craft too.

With all comforts and good care
Being the order of the day
An efficient nursing staff
With friendliness display.

In a spacious auditorium
Great entertainment abounds
And the halls fairly ring
With gay musical sounds.

With much energy expended
Our activity director is right out straight
Creating multifarious activities
That never seem to abate.

And the May Court Club of Brockville
Services our Library well
And in conjunction with the Auxiliary
Both no more than words can tell.

Through the summer we enjoy the bus trips
Plus river cruises too
With a final fall trip
The coloured leaves to view.

Weekly in our chapel
We have our spirits buoyed
By a very pleasant service
Which is very much enjoyed.

Special mention for our handicraft
Where novel things are made
For sale at the annual bazaar
When plans are completed and okayed.

With an administration par excellence
Life moves on an even keel
And all trials and tribulations
Are assured of a square deal.

And so a pleasant life is led
As we greet each dawning day
And one would search in vain
For a nicer place to stay!
