Position Summary

Nursing staff are an integral component of our multi-disciplinary team.  Registered nurses provide clinical leadership and mentoring and coaching to the care team.  The Home provides an opportunity for nurses to contribute to development of new approaches to provision of care to the elderly.  We are seeking registered nurses with a commitment to provide excellence in service to an elderly and frail population.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• A member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required.
• Proven clinical and leadership skills and demonstrated ability in core competencies, including excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Gerontology and palliative care experience, as well as, PIECES training is an asset.
