St. Lawrence Lodge Association Volunteer Program
The Auxiliary Volunteer Program (AVP) is a group of dedicated Volunteers, who through fundraising, special events, and profits from the Lodge Shop, have provided equipment, furnishings and entertainment for Residents living at St. Lawrence Lodge.
The Auxiliary sponsors various events, facilitates diverse activities, assists with programs and provides visiting to residents.
Events in past years have included concerts, on and off site; craft and bake sales; teas and dinner parties; card parties; as well as various raffles.
The Auxiliary also operates the Lodge Shop that sells an assortment
of items such as snacks, refreshments, small gifts, toiletries and stationary.
It is open Sunday through Friday 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
The Auxiliary has also set up an e-mail program available to all residents
and assistance is provided to residents wishing to use it. If you wish
to participate and have not already done so, please contact the Auxiliary
Volunteer Program Office at (613) 345-0255 extension 4140 with your email
address. You can email a resident by using the avp@ripnet.com and
putting the residents name as the subject of the email.
The Auxiliary Volunteer Program is always interested in recruiting committed volunteers, so if you enjoy working with the elderly and are interested in helping with any of the various programs please call the Activation Services Department at (613) 345-0255 extension 4122.
