Food and Nutritional Services

Meals are prepared on site and in strict accordance with both the Canadian Food Guide Standards and Long Term Care Standards. Food and Nutritional services are under the direction of the Lodge and managed by Aramark Canada’s team of qualified Operations staff, and a Registered Dietitian.

  • Therapeutic diets are also provided for a given resident in compliance with his or her physician’s orders
  • In addition the Resident’s Council and Resident’s Food Committee meet regularly to discuss and participate in the menu planning and to access the quality of service provided by the dietary department
  • Residents can choose from two meal selections at breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Nourishment and snacks are also provided daily
